Heat Pump Dryers

Heat Pump Dryers

Kerone Engineering Solutions Ltd. offers heat pump dryers or dehydrators, for a variety of food and agricultural applications. By drawing moisture from the drying air, heat pump dryers have the ability to improve the overall dehydrating process. The energy is used more effectively and is not wasted since it is recycled and used to heat dryers instead of being wasted in the atmosphere in other types of dyers. With cheap cost and improved outcomes in humid environments, this causes material to dry at low temperatures typically between 60 and 160 degrees Fahrenheit (even up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit for bigger systems).

By drawing moisture from the drying air, heat pump dryers have the ability to improve the overall dehydrating process. With cheap cost and improved outcomes in humid environments, this causes material to dry at low temperatures typically between 60 and 160 degrees Fahrenheit (even up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit for bigger systems).

Heat pump dryers are popular because they have a better energy delivery to consumption ratio, meaning that they produce more energy than they consume. Since the gases and pollutants created at the drying site are not released into the atmosphere, heat pump dryers are environmentally benign.

Compressor and condenser make up the dryer’s heat pump system. The compressor boosts the temperature of the dehumidified air, and the condenser raises the temperature even more by transferring heat from the outside environment or from the dryer’s recycled warm air. The warm air is then recirculated inside the drum, where it picks up further moisture from the garments.

Additionally using a heat exchanger, heat pump dryers increase efficiency. This part enables the warm air leaving the drum to pass through the incoming cool, moist air, preheating it before it enters the evaporator. Since less energy is needed, the ideal drying temperature can be reached faster.
